Description
There is a large bush obscuring the sign for SE 35th Street. Additionally, the bush so overgrown it makes it dangerous to turn down the street because it greatly reduces visibility, forcing cars/garbage trucks/vans into the lane of oncoming traffic to see if other vehicles are coming.
A few years ago, after similar complaints, a city employee came, determined the bush was actually on city property, but to appease the homeowner at the end of the street he only trimmed it back 2-3 feet.
It’s big enough now that it’s swallowing the street sign and completely eliminating visibility, making things dangerous for cars and pedestrians alike. It’s time to cut down the overgrown bush for everyone’s safety. If in fact the tree in on city property, the city will be liable for any accidents that may occur.
Thanks.
