Description
Hi - I have previously asked for the garbage cans to be put back into Proctor Landing as well as Slater Park and had a nice conversation with Angie who explained they were removed due to budget cuts. I have noticed that multiple garbage cans still remain at all of the playground areas that ARE CLOSED and taped off. Might I suggest that the cans be removed from the closed areas (playgrounds) and restored at the open areas? This might provide a disincentive for people to go to the closed areas and breach the tape which will then require park personnel to put more up. You will be net ahead in the number of garbage cans as I counted 7 garbage cans next to closed areas / playgrounds around Lid Park and only 2 cans are needed at Proctor & Slater. One at Garfield would be great also but I won't push my luck.
