The housing for our water meter is positioned such that our contractor cannot turn off water at the street (the shutoff valve is too close to the side). This is preventing repairs at the house. Can it be relocated a couple inches so it’s easier to use the shutoff valve?\n\nThe cover is fine. The housing is not compromised. They just make it impossible to use the shutoff valve.","flag_url":"https://seeclickfix.com/api/v2/issues/23098271/flag","html_url":"https://seeclickfix.com/issues/23098271","id":23098271,"lat":47.572761959197,"lng":-122.212643093529,"media":{"image_full":"https://seeclickfix.com/rails/active_storage/representations/redirect/eyJfcmFpbHMiOnsiZGF0YSI6NDU3MzM5NDAsInB1ciI6ImJsb2JfaWQifX0=--898ad49600c4b272a460e3c740995cca764ecc5b/eyJfcmFpbHMiOnsiZGF0YSI6eyJmb3JtYXQiOiJqcGciLCJhdXRvX29yaWVudCI6dHJ1ZSwic3RyaXAiOnRydWUsInJlc2l6ZSI6IjgwMHg2MDAifSwicHVyIjoidmFyaWF0aW9uIn19--242b3e94addeeae50b5fd8df8a0a8fbcf02bf33c/4aaa0d4f-a890-45b9-afd2-fb983c4069ab_2026-10-25T17-09-07-04-00.jpg","image_square_100x100":"https://seeclickfix.com/rails/active_storage/representations/redirect/eyJfcmFpbHMiOnsiZGF0YSI6NDU3MzM5NDAsInB1ciI6ImJsb2JfaWQifX0=--898ad49600c4b272a460e3c740995cca764ecc5b/eyJfcmFpbHMiOnsiZGF0YSI6eyJmb3JtYXQiOiJqcGciLCJhdXRvX29yaWVudCI6dHJ1ZSwic3RyaXAiOnRydWUsInJlc2l6ZSI6IjEwMHgxMDBeIiwiZ3Jhdml0eSI6ImNlbnRlciIsImV4dGVudCI6IjEwMHgxMDAifSwicHVyIjoidmFyaWF0aW9uIn19--65761edc0e4051a20b5d81cec2bec201d6c43dee/4aaa0d4f-a890-45b9-afd2-fb983c4069ab_2026-10-25T17-09-07-04-00.jpg","representative_image_url":"https://seeclickfix.com/rails/active_storage/representations/redirect/eyJfcmFpbHMiOnsiZGF0YSI6NDU3MzM5NDAsInB1ciI6ImJsb2JfaWQifX0=--898ad49600c4b272a460e3c740995cca764ecc5b/eyJfcmFpbHMiOnsiZGF0YSI6eyJmb3JtYXQiOiJqcGciLCJhdXRvX29yaWVudCI6dHJ1ZSwic3RyaXAiOnRydWUsInJlc2l6ZSI6IjEwMHgxMDBeIiwiZ3Jhdml0eSI6ImNlbnRlciIsImV4dGVudCI6IjEwMHgxMDAifSwicHVyIjoidmFyaWF0aW9uIn19--65761edc0e4051a20b5d81cec2bec201d6c43dee/4aaa0d4f-a890-45b9-afd2-fb983c4069ab_2026-10-25T17-09-07-04-00.jpg","video_url":null},"point":{"coordinates":[-122.212643093529,47.572761959197],"type":"Point"},"private_visibility":false,"rating":2,"reopened_at":null,"reporter":{"avatar":{"full":"https://seeclickfix.com/images/no-avatar-100.png","square_100x100":"https://seeclickfix.com/images/no-avatar-100.png"},"civic_points":0,"id":2657511,"name":"Thibaut Vial","role":"Registered User","witty_title":""},"request_type":{"id":37237,"organization":"City of Mercer Island - NOTE: Emergencies should always be reported to 911 immediately.
