Most of its canopy extends over my property at 7270 87th Ave SE, including over my roof and the deck and lawn area where my family spends time every day.\n\nThis is my second request about this tree. My earlier request to have it trimmed (Request #15909017) did not result in any actions. The condition has worsened since then, and with fall and winter wind season arriving, I'm asking for remediation.\n\nPhotos attached.\n\nThe tree leans toward my house. Part of the upper crown appears dead and has no leaves. There are large broken branches hanging in the canopy above my roof. \n\nApproximately three years ago, a tree from Wildwood Park fell onto the wall and roof of my home (Requests #15534628 and #15534635). The city has now been notified of this maple tree's condition in the past, and with that history I believe it is urgent that this tree be inspected before it fails, rather than after another catastrophic failure that could injure my family or damage our home.\n\nI'm asking the city to inspect the tree and, if it is determined to be a hazard, to perform the work needed to address it, including removal of the dead and hanging branches, as part of the city's maintenance of public trees. This is a request for the city to act on its own tree, not an application for a permit for me to do the work.
