There are 18 elementary younger children that live on this corner. There are no speed bumps, there is no stop sign. There is a sign posting the speed limit at 10 MPH and very few cars follow it. There are some drivers that go 35-45 MPH on this blind turn veering into the other lane. I have complained about this in the past and requested a speed bump but we did not meet the criteria. Unfortunately it only takes one trackless driver to kill an innocent child walking home from school. Please make this street safer for our children and elderly that dont have the awareness ro mobility to move out of the way of reckless drivers. We have called the police and they tell us there isn't anything they can do.
