Description
Dear Park Services Team,
I hope this message finds you well. First, I want to express my appreciation for all the hard work you do to maintain and improve our beautiful parks.
I am writing to inquire about a situation I’ve noticed in Island Crest Park. There are two trails that run quite close to each other—approximately 15 feet apart. Many visitors, including myself, have been using a short, direct path (about 15 feet long) to move between these two trails. Recently, I observed that this informal connecting path has been blocked with tree branches, which now requires park-goers to walk an additional 100 yards (50 yards each way) to transition between the trails.
Could you please let me know if this blockage was intentional? If so, I am interested in understanding the reasoning behind it. The direct path has been very convenient for many of us, and its closure has caused some inconvenience.
Would it be possible to consider creating an official connecting path at this spot? I believe it would enhance the experience for many park visitors by providing a more direct route.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to your response.
Warm regards.
.
