Description
On SE 20th St., there is no NO PARKING sign on the south side of the street (where the red car is in photo). There are a couple on the west end of the road but none as you continue east on the street. This continues to cause traffic issues on the street because often times people park on both sides of the street with very little to no room to pass through. It has also caused safety issues when people have initially parked too far into the ditch, especially at night because you can’t tell how deep the ditch is (no street lights on SE 20th), and then get stuck, requiring a tow truck. The Roanoke Inn and VFW building are a block away so SE 20th st is used for overflow parking most evenings. If a (or a couple) NO PARKING sign could be placed on the south side of the street, this should alleviate most of the parking/traffic issues. Thanks!
