Description

This issue was submitted previously and not fixed or improved since the original submission. The attached photo was taken after the puddle subsided. Please see the previous issue for an example of how large the puddle can get. https://seeclickfix.com/issues/12111158 When it rains, a large puddle forms and persists at the Ellis Pond trail on 91st Ave SE. The puddle either evaporates or very slowly seeps into the adjacent soil. There are grates several feet away from the puddle, but the grates nearby are not the problem. The water does not flow towards the grates at all, the grates are several feet away from the standing puddle and there is no drainage implementation to reach the drainage grates from the trail. This disrupts neighbors walking, students going to school, etc. Please help with a drainage solution that guides the water away from the trail. The drainage grates several feet away from the puddle are ineffective unless the water can reach them. Could drainage be made directly to ellis pond? The grates feed there anyway (is that correct?) and the trail is not obstructed by private property. If there were even a slight negative grade westward this would not have been a problem. I'm sure there are many neighbors like me that are enthusiastic for a solution and willing to help.
